Lively Google not ready for Apple Mac OS X

Then as an Apple Mac OS X user you get hit with a message that says “Lively is not ready for your platform” and “Lively requires Windows Vista or XP with Internet Explorer or Firefox”.
Now while I understand why this would be, you must also understand there are thousands of web designers and developers that use the Mac Operating System, you would have thought Google could have added this support on launch as well.
Its not only Lively, you have to get a third party application to use Google Talk as well. While that’s not a problem, it’s still nice to use the dedicated application.
With Lively you will be able to chat and interact with your friends in rooms you design, these can be expanded with a catalog of rooms, furniture, outfits and avatars to build up.
You can easily add your room to your site and then invite friends and family to chat and even decorate. Another cool feature is the ability to stream videos and photos with Lively.
We know Lively is a work in progress and only 20 percent done, but should it not also support Mac today?
