Sony PS3 Trophy System Photos: answer to Xbox 360 Achievements

Now this is quite interesting because these images shown here are leaked apparently and is of the 2.40’s trophy support, now we have to ask ourselves are they real or fake, according to PS3 Fanboy the tipster who sent this in calls himself “The Patriots”, looking at the images it seems they are real and possibly could be a fantastic chance to see the beginning of a brand new S3 Project.

Leaked photos are normally fuzzy, but these ones however seem pretty good, so far seems all real, the PS3 avatar in the photo is legit, ok this is not conclusive evidence but surely it is more than enough to keep us all speculating. If we do believe the images are real does this means that it shows a PS3 Gamercard, if you look at the images closely you will see that the trophy page is only one of three so the question here is “Where is the other one? We will no doubt hear more about this over the next few weeks, going on if these are real; if they are fake then we will not. Now we move onto some details on how these trophies will work and a little info on the in-game XMB.

According to a source called “Gassy Snake,” who claims he is a game developer, is saying that it is “The Patriots” he says the images are very real and the pages are called “gamer card” and “compare,” even though these are not official titles, the picture clearly shows your gamer card where it will feature the likes of a trophy total and indeed a level. The source or should we say tipster called Gassy also says that each trophy type will apparently be worth a different number of point, so in theory or maybe truth this means that there are limits in how many of each trophy are in a single game. To break it down just gain trophy points – the number will increase with each level – highly difficult to get to a higher level.

In regards to in-game XMB it has been said that you can do apparently most things, in-game for example comparing trophies, some will require that you leave the game but by pressing the PS button (just Once) it will bring up the XMB in-game, if you hold this button down it will show the same menu that you would see pre-2.40, all this into consideration means that no features are being removed, oh yes baby. Of course take all the above with a pinch of salt as rumors are rumors and no ones if this is the definite truth as of yet anyway. The tipsters could be hoaxers but then again they maybe the real deal. If you ask me it is the answer to Xbox 360 Achievements.
