Sony Pictures Crackle
Launched on June 5, the original short-form comedy/interview show hosted by film, television and videogame producer Jace Hall attracted 500,000 visitors in its first two days alone – and the numbers haven’t showed signs of slowing down. Since the show’s launch success, the first two episodes and their outtakes have gone on to attract over one million viewers.

“Never before has there been such a clear and overwhelming sign that viewers are looking for cutting edge content on the internet,” said Crackle GM, Jonathan Shambroom. “Crackle has been able to take Jace Hall’s edgy and funny show and deliver it to a highly enthusiastic gaming and entertainment audience – and the result has been simply astounding.”

Mixing Hollywood glitz with gamer geekdom, The Jace Hall Show is a 13-part original series with exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from the hottest game developers and features rare interviews in which actors, musicians and athletes discuss their lives in context of the entertainment convergence world.

Part of the viewing frenzy at launch time was fueled by rumors and speculation around Hall’s “special glimpse” of the long-awaited Duke Nukem Forever video game – which he delivered in episode one. Episode two featured singer/actress Christina Milian as she challenged Jace’s gaming skills.

“The Jace Hall show is bringing something new to both gaming and casual audiences with fun lifestyle entertainment, which gives them a personal inside glimpse into the growing video game cultural phenomenon,” said Jason “Jace” Hall, Executive Producer and Host. “The fact that Crackle has been able to deliver this show as one of the most successful web series launches to date is proof there has been a thirst for this type of show and we’re excited to unveil the new episodes every week.”
