MOTOZINE ZN5: First phone with Motorola’s ModeShift and KODAK Imaging Technology

Today we are hearing the first Official news about the MOTOZINE ZN5; this is the first phone to combine Motorola’s ModeShift and Kodak’s Imaging Technology. The partnership with Kodak means this phone offers a 5-megapixel camera that has integration with Kodak Gallery, image stitching, a xenon flash, autofocus and image technology from the world’s foremost imaging innovator. Motorola’s main innovation in this cell phone is the ModeShift technology; this basically lets you morph the keypad depending on device mode.
If you love to take photos on the move then you going to love the ZINE ZN5, you can take high quality images in the moment and share the content with friends, family or the world. The device was officially unveiled in Beijing today at a gallery-inspired event; Motorola and Kodak hope together they will “redefine the quality, convenience and connectivity of mobile imaging devices”. With the ZN5 you will be able to move pictures easily off the phone and print or share your photos whenever you want, this is thanks to accessing web-sharing sites on the go.
Phones these days are not only for making phone calls, we also want to be the photographer, retoucher and even the exhibitor. With the ZN5 image capturing comes first, so you can be all these things and even the critic.
The ZN5 will keep you connected with the world thanks to dual compatibility for WLAN and GSM; you can enjoy high-speed wireless connections and like many high-end phones, web browsing in done in a full HTML browser. Other communication features include e-mail, IM, MMS and SMS.
The MOTOZINE ZN5 will roll out around the world over this year but it will be first available in China in July 2008, currently we do not have any pricing details but will update you when they become available.
