Metal Gear Solid 4 (MGS4) helps push Sony Playstation 3 Sales beyond Nintendo Wii

The Playstation 3 (PS3) has beat Nintendo Wii for the 3rd time, all those PS3 gamers will be happy to know that the Sony console has outsold the Wii and this is thanks to the awesome game Metal Gear Solid 4 (MGS4).
The PS3 has outsold the Wii worldwide for the week of June 7th to June 14th; well this is what VGChartz has reported. To break it down this is basically the 7th time the Sony PS3 was able to outsell the Nintendo Wii in the States, but in Japan this was the 3rd time. We say the mega PS3 console sales is all thanks to the release of Metal Gear Solid 4, and with the Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle for example the Wal-Mart deal which features a $100 gift card with the purchase of any PS3, you know that is an amazing deal.
We could put a number of reasons why the Sony PS3 dominated the Wii; want to hear them do you? Well how about these for example: 1) Nintendo Wii shortages, you know hard to get hold of the damn things and this could possibly be why the PS3 dominated. 2) Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle helped the PS3 sales. 3) Sony PS3 is more superior (maybe).

Hey LooseA$$, stop acting like a F^<KIN fanboy. Nobody likes fanboys including their families. I agree, Halo 3 is a great game, but F^<K off with your fanboyism. Yes, we know: You love all things related to your 360 and Playstation is the devil reincarnated. You epitomize fanboys and your posts are a prefect expample of fanboyism. Find a bridge over rocks and take the leap of faith. If the 360 gods love you as you love them, they will give you wings and rescue you. If they don’t, I guess they regard fanboys in the same way I do.

I never said anything bad about PS3, I said MGS4 doesn’t have much replay value.

P.S. Unfortunately PS3 is now 3.3 BILLION in the hole as of today and MGS4 didn’t move many extra PS3’s.

Instead of reading ProductReviews.net for your gaming news you should be reading VGChartz.com. The writers are self-declared fanboys but are honest about it, unlike LooseA$$ who lies about owning more than one console. At VG you can see worldwide sales for your console(s) in all regions (i.e. North America, UK, Japan). It also shows weekly charts for hardware AND software.
See Loosea$$, if you read news (if you can call ProductReviews news) on UK websites you’re going to get the “news” pertaining to the UK. You were right when you said MSG4 created a very small hardware sale increase for the PS3 (6-7% for the region), however UK sites won’t mention that the PS3 hardware sales increased 180% in North America and 700% in Japan week-over-week after MSG4 was released. You also didn’t know that the PS3 sold more than the Wii in total worldwide sales figures for that week also. This isn’t really an accomplishment in comparision to how well H3 increased 360 sales or how well the Wii sells every single month, but you’re just blowing smoke out of your loosea$$ and you don’t even know it.
This isn’t your fault. Product Reviews is just a bad place to get actual news, but since you choose bad news to read I’ll rip on you for being wrong and/or misinformed. So to sum this up, Loosea$$, you’re a douche, a fanboy, and read terrible news. All of this leads me to believe that your uncle touched your lil’weewee when you were younger. Lol
