By: Daniel Chubb | June 10, 2008
The first phone to beat the iPhone and it surfs the web and downloads data at twice the speed, and it costs half the price. This is the new iPhone 3G. You can see some photos on this page of the new 3G Apple iPhone and you can watch a video below of the new iPhone 3G Advert from YouTube, if you want a much clearer look at the new advertisement then see it on Apple’s site here.
The new iPhone tests where based on 3G and EDGE testing, although you would have to bare in mind that actual speeds will vary by site conditions. You may also need a new 2-year AT&T rate plan.
The second video that you can see below is of Steve Jobs Keynote at WWDC 2008 yesterday, the five-minute video explains the 3G iPhone from the man himself and this news was the first that the world officially got to confirm the iPhone.

Steve Jobs said as we have arrived at the iPhones first birthday, we are now going to take it to the next level and then he introduces the iPhone 3G. The moment he said those words, everyone took notice, as this is just what we all were waiting for. This year the show could of easily been called the WorldWide iPhone Conference.

If you want to see the all of Steve Jobs keynote address then you can do so by visiting this page on Apple’s site and you will get a nice, very clear video of Steve Jobs keynote. Have a watch of that video and also the new 3G iPhone advert below and then tell us what you think of the new iPhone. Did it meet all your expectations?
