Will Steve Jobs reveal this 3G iPhone with WiMAX today?

We have all heard the 3G iPhone rumored specs over and over, you know the possibility of GPS, obvious 3G, better camera etc. What we do not hear often is the new Apple iPhone to feature WiMAX, but the image above clearly shows just that.

This photo was sent to French site GMP3 and although there must be thousands of fake images doing the rounds, this iPhone 2 photo looks spot on and the evidence of WiMAX is most welcomed.

What news could make this photo seem even more real, maybe hearing that Apple has been recently advertising for a senior wireless system engineer and that very person has to have WiMAX experience. With that in mind, this photo of the iPhone could very well be the real second-generation iPhone.

None of us are even considering the possibility that Apple may not launch a new iPhone today, now wouldn’t that be something if it really happened. Now if we get back to the real world, if this spy shot of the new iPhone is real, would you welcome WiMAX technology in the iPhone?
