The WWDC 2008 Keynote will be today at 10AM Pacific Daylight Time and Product Reviews will be covering the lead up to this event in detail and also all the news that comes out of the Worldwide Developer Conference as it happens. We have created one area for all that is WWDC and that’s here.
Steve Jobs Keynote will bring a lot of information and we will report it as soon as we can today, so far we have spoke about Steve Jobs apparently giving the 3G Apple iPhone a flexible price that allows phone providers to set the price dependent on price plans and other factors. This will see many cheaper options to get an iPhone 2 but also either longer contracts or higher monthly payments. There should also be an explosion of iPhone software at Worldwide Developers Conference 2008, developers normally focus on Mac software but this year has seen them focus on bring innovations to the iPhone and we could see the results of these today.
We reported that its rumored Microsoft may try and shine some light their way one hour before WWDC, we have heard that there could be a Microsoft press release at 9AM Pacific Daylight Time and it could be about a Blu-ray version of the Xbox 360, this is massive news in the gaming world and could turn some people away from the WWDC news, read more on that here. We also asked the question “Do Apple stores already have the 3G iPhone in stock?” this was following many reports of the 3G iPhone being in rumored boxes that had been padlocked and to be only opened on Monday (read that post).
In the business world Apple’s share price may be affected by the worldwide developer conference and this is surly to be in a good way, read that post here. Later today we will be reporting on the Official WWDC 2008 news so remember to bookmark that category.
