Are you trading your Apple iPhone for 3G version?

Well I think that O2 might just have the answer for my brother and other Apple iPhone owners, the guys over at Phones Reviews are reporting that the UK network will be offering the 3G Apple iPhone for just £100, as they are heavily subsidising the handset. Although this is still only a rumour, many iPhone owners will now be thinking of replacing their old 2G models. Steve Jobs will be showing the new 3G Apple iPhone of very soon at the WWDC08 developer event, and the handset should hopefully hit stores in July.
If rumours of the new handset costing just £100 are true, what will happen to all the old models of the iPhone? The thing is you can guarantee that most Apple iPhone owners will be renewing their handset, and they will be left with what was a great phone. The old 2G iPhones can’t even be sold on, as they are only available in the UK on the O2 network.
