Oh yes the latest news will have all you Sony PS3 Metal Gear Solid 4 fans loving this one, there is a brand new Metal Gear Solid 4 Limited Edition Sony PS3 coming very soon, in fact the release date is set for June 12, 2008 which is very soon indeed. We also have some MGS 4 Playstation bundle details for you as well.
The retail market will be hit with the stunning limited edition gunmetal gray MGS4 PS3, this will be available exclusively from Konami.com (Link Below) for only $599.99. Fir that price you will get the 40GB gunmetal Sony PS3 with matching DualShock 3 wireless controller, exclusive Blu-ray disc with 2-hours of additional content (making of documentary and look at Hideo Kojima’s production team) and of course the MGS4 plus Metal Gear Online and Guns of the Patriots Limited Edition game. The downside is that there will be a limited supply, you can pre-order from Monday the 19th.
WARNING: You must remember this is NOT the previously revealed MGS4 Standard Edition 80GB PS3 bundle!
This is definitely something you should all have on your wish list, the MGS4 LE game box contains The Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots game which also includes the brilliant Metal Gear Online where you can take part in the awesome multiplayer squad based tactical shooter, as said above exclusive Blu-ray disc which includes “Hideo Kojima’s Gene”, a behind-the-scenes vision of Hideo Kojima’s production team & game and “The Making of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots” documentary. Seems a little over priced to me. You can get a 40GB PS3 for 399 so you’re basically paying an extra 200 for the game
It would’ve been really nice if it came with the 80gb model. But oh well…I still think it’s kind of worth it. You get much more than just the game. You get the Limited Edition of the game, an MGS Saga blu ray video (making of Metal Gear and documentary on Hideo Kojima), a Dualshock 3, and a touched up PS3. But I guess I’ll stick with the normal 80gb model w/ MGS 4 for $499.
Who cares if you have a 40gb model, just buy a 200-300gb hard drive and pop it into your ps3. Sony said it doesnt even void the warranty.
Please people! What can you possibly see in this? Are you really willing to spend an extra $200 for half the storage and butt ugly flat gray colored PS3??? Just because they call the color a cool name doesn’t change the fact it’s freaking GRAY! What a boring, plain Jane look to an otherwise great looking system.
For $100 LESS you can have the same damn game without the lame “special features” disc that you will only watch one time…unless you are a really really big dork.
