Blackberry Thunder isn’t the Voyager or Sprint Instinct; it’s a 3G-iPhone contender

If we think pass the features of each phone, then the real winner will have to give a truly breathtaking user experience and amazing interface. The real breaking news in the last few days was the rumor that the new Blackberry will feature support for both Vodafone’s GSM network in Europe and Verizon’s CDMA phone network. These will be exclusive deals with each of the cell phone carriers. So what about the BlackBerry Bold, it was hyped to be the major competitor to the iPhone but then that phone was not touch screen, and the HTC Touch Diamond is another phone that looks good, but it still lacks the extra something.
With RIM’s corporate policy standing firm on not discussing rumors, it looks like we will have to wait and see what really comes to the consumer in the form of just a name “Blackberry Thunder”, although I am sure we will get to see details on the 3G iPhone much sooner.
