Which first, Doom 4 or Duke Nukem Forever?

Gamers have had such a long time to talk about Duke Nukem Forever, with the possibility of the game never getting released but that was proven wrong a few weeks back when Duke Nukem Forever was confirmed by 3D Realms with a game trailer. I can remember the good old Duke Nukem days, but its in need of a graphics update and while the new one has taken “Forever”, we have now had a little insight into what’s coming. Some other news is that id Software have started development of DOOM 4, so what will be first, Doom 4 or Duke Nukem Forever?

This latest journey into the legendary DOOM universe will have to meet high expectations thanks to the previous DOOM games getting rated so highly. ID Software say that Doom 4 will need the “brightest minds and the greatest talent in the gaming industry”, this is the developers flagship franchise and they will need to pull out all stops in the making of the next game. When I think back to my PC gaming days, DOOM holds many loved memories for my friends, and me, it has to be one of the most influential video games ever. The winner of these two titles does not need to be on sale first, but it can help a lot and both can top the gaming charts easy.

    Doom 1&2 great Doom3 big disappointment

    Hopefully DNF & Doom4 can bring something fresh back into FPS’s and Duke is likely to have the edge over Doom 4

    Seriously,i think D5 will be out before DNF.
    If DNF isn’t out this year they should cancel it.
    DNF has become the joke of two centuries.
    A little up tight too,try commenting on their forums.If the don’t like what you say they ban you.This post would be banned.

    10 years and all we get is a stupid video.
    It took em 10 friggin years and they can’t even show us a proper glimpse of a game that will probably never see light.DNF should be on DNF 5 by now.What a joke.Hear that 3drealms,your a joke.

    I’m with both “quake” and “jon”… I think DNF will pull it out, but soon please 3DR?!?!

    Doom 3 kinda sux, as well as Quake 4. Come on ppl.. get back to your roots. Hopefully 3DR didn’t screw up DNF.. with all this time.. we’re expecting perfection…

    it’s a extreme good marketing for 3DRealms and T2 (if the lastest one wasn’t serious with their $500k story a while back).

    they are pumping the hype. tell me any “gamer” who doesn’t know about DNF?;)

    once it’s out it sells shitaload – it doesn’t matter if it’s good or not, it still does. is it for a retro-meaning or something else, it doesn’t matter:)
