GRID yet another Xbox 360 and Sony PS3 Comparison

It seems that more people are now making a comparison video footage of games of the same title on both the Xbox 360 and the Sony PS3. The thing is we already know what each console is capable of, but that does not stop people from still showing us. However; there are still those out there who still like to see the same game but on an Xbox 360 and a Sony PlayStation 3 and put side by side just to see which of the two has the edge.
I have to say that I am one of those people who like to no what console looks better playing the same game and I was a little surprised of the results. On this comparison video the Xbox 360 looks as though it had a bit of an edge on the PS3, but I bet this has been made to look like that. How could an Xbox 360 ever have superior graphics over the PS3. The thing with games these day is that they are now focusing more on the graphics side of things and not on how well the gameplay will be, GRID does look as though it will be a great game but I feel guilty saying that I will like this game, please don’t tell GT I have been dreaming about another racing game.

well considering the 360 has a much more superior GPU and CPU and because it is much easier to make games for the 360, it is easier for developers to make a game on the 360’s 3 processors compared to the the ps3’s 1 processor and 8 SPE’S ( one SPE is disabled and one is not used for games) so tht leaves 6 SPE’S. and besides nearly every multiplatform game looks better on the 360. u havent noticed it yet ?
Xbox 360 isn’t better then Ps3.If you look at first party stuff the ps3 runs circles around the 360 stuff.If you read what GT said in this video they goofed up.I played the demo of this game looked great to me and ran very fast frames.As far as multiplatfrom games devs are getting use to coding the ps3 so that is very false.The way the ps3 works is that the GPU pulls from the CPU.This means the gpu doesn’t have to render in models and such the GPU can be used for shaders and textures.CELL can handle AI, physics,modeling.The Xenos doesn’t own anything.It has 48 shaders per cycle but how strong are they?Rsx holds it’s own on so many levels.
Nick is one of those xbots with no knowledge on anything, saying xbox360 has a superior cpu is a joke , sony is a hardware company, ofcource their hardware will be superior, and microsoft is a software company,so ofcource 3rd party games will look better on the 360,its easier to port to 360 as its similar to Pc game code,first party ps3 games that utilise the console really pull ahead of the xbox360 first party titles, and no, its 3 processors vs 8 , 360 has 3 symmetrical cores, which have to run the SAME code all the time, the cell in Sony has asymmetrical cores which are independant and can run any ammount of code in unison without any syncing with the same code set, which is a million times more better, the fact remains of xbox360 3rd party game superiority in some games comes to the fact devs are lazy to use the powerful asymmetrical cores in the ps3, just look at killzone 2, can anybody honestly find a game on the 360 which is technically superior?, no .
RSX is also really powerful as Mike said, it can be freed by the cell and has acess to the Cells memory.
Ps3 is twice, maybe more powerful as the xbox360, do the research.
I certainly agree with jason,ps3 is much more powerfull and graphically superior than xbox360 the was a time where i did research on the ps3 if it can display 4D graphics and the answer was a huge YES both xbox360 and ps3 can show 4D graphics but with the xbox360’s core CPU the graphic calculations and memory usage that the console has it would take days to create a small part a 4D scene in the game whereas on the ps3 creation of that part can be jus created on the fly the ps3 is highly superior than 360 though a 360 is still a powerfull console its jus not powerful than a ps3…..
