Gears of War 2 gameplay and new trailer for Xbox 360

Today the gaming world gets to see a closer look at Gears of War 2 with some gameplay and other trailer features, when I owned an Xbox 360, the best game I found was Gears of Wars and after watching the video (see below this post) for the sequel, this looks to be the best game of 2008 for the Xbox 360. Its a shame this game will never be on the Sony PS3, the fast paced action and the way you move is fantastic and just what makes Gears of War 2 special.

In the GoW2 gameplay below you can see that the Locust’s are back and they are meaner than ever, they brought with them a force that can sink entire cities. Humanity has its back against the wall, in this debut gameplay trailer you get to see action from the level “The Salt”. I love the way you can grab a body for protection and then snap their neck, very cool if you like that sort of thing. Gears of War 2 will be released on November 30, 2008 and below we have three game trailers for you, the first shows brand new features abound as the Cogs take up the battle with the Locust once again.

The second trailer gives you every dirty detail revealed, it shows that the new lightning technique in Gears of War 2 is really paying off. The game features more details and clarity thanks to more contrast; the Marcus’s player model has also been improved with much better details on the face.

The third trailer shows a graphics comparison of the first Gears of War game, compared to the second. I will let you decide here, the graphics have improved a little and it’s very impressive that the game runs smooth with so much going on.

    Hopefully accuracy actually means something in this iteration. I was getting pissed at having to unload a full clip into guys faces and having the same reaction as when I shot them in the chest.

    Hopefully it will be more than hours to finish the first Gears of War was good in graphics good controls and crap on the story is extremely lame and short as hell and only 8 players online with a bunch of lagging cheaters. Gears of War 2 will need a massive improvement huge. And maybe this it will be 16 players and longer story line worth seeing and no lagging cheaters online hopefully.

    It barely looks better than the first one graphically which isnt a good sign.

    I suspect the 360 may be struggling to produce more.

    Dude this game looks way better than the first one and its the first gameplay seen until it comes out. So what we seen pretty much is like a demo so no judging yet its only may.

    It doesn’t look that much better graphically than the original…and unlike Killzone2, THIS footage isn’t pre-alpha.

    I don’t expect this game to do anything for xbox360′s struggling sales against the PlayStation3 and it’s 2008 lineup.

    KZ2 is gonna blow this away in everything from sales to gameplay…but this game is gonna be great none the less, looking forward to it.

    wow i think this looks amazing common what did u want from a game like this. It looks way better the shades look bettter then the first one and people remember this is not at 1080p on a 50 inch tv so relax it looks amazing and to say that 360 is running out of potential i havent seen a ps3 game look any better and its been a while and dont say that mgs4 looks better i have played the demo and it doesnt so relax and dont say im a ps3 hater cause i have one im just realisitic. accept what ever system is good for and let the complanies do the battling

    it does look good, but the only difference i see, is they tried to make everything a little brighter. epic said with the first gears, that it was pushing the 360 almost as hard as it could go, so i wasnt expecting much.

    and it dont look as good as killzone, or reisistance 2. cummon MS!!!

    I never really got into the first Gears, it was OK for me.

    This looks like “going with a winning strategy” idea and good for them as they will sell tons.

    Just doesn’t seem to be my kind of game

    Hahahaha,killzone 2 wil gow2 in gameplay and sales?hahaha.yah kz was good wid the story but the gameplay and graphics rocked gow2..evn the kz 2 had gud graphics,now about sales kz2 sold a milion in a month and gow2 sold 2 milion in 2 weeks!!!forget about resistance it sold well coz it was the only exclusiv aftr mgs4…and gameplay even a baby wil say its a stpid game
