Having long been a fan of Call of Duty and the latest COD4 being one of the most played games online for the Sony Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, this game has a massive following. Today the Games publisher Activision has confirmed the next game in the franchise, Call of Duty 5: Military Theatre will be coming to the Xbox 360 and Sony PS3 as with the last one, but COD5 will also hit the PC, Nintendo DS and for the first time ever on the Nintendo Wii and Sony PS2.
The last game nearly doubled the users in 2007 and with COD5 also hitting the Wii and PS2 it will surely increase more. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare really became big for the online play and the way you could move up ranks and get new custom weapons as you did. Then getting the surprise of different prestige ranks after you thought you completed the online ranking improvements. I have personally played COD4 for over 140 hours and can tell you first hand; it’s the best game in its class. Now I wonder what Call of Duty 5 will bring?
Mike Griffith, Activision’s CEO said “We’ll bring the intensity of the recent Call of Duty: Modern Warfare title to a new military theatre”. That does not tell us much, but lets hope they really get their act together and bring us some destructible environments, as that’s what we want. Forget bullet holes in walls and laptops; give us grenades that can blow holes in walls and everything in a room. Lets have COD5 with all the same gameplay, but increased reality.

What the hell is up with the title of this article??
So then what military theater is the game going to be in
Obviously it is saying that COD5 will be set in a military theatre as opposed to a non-military theatre, as we can deduce from Mike Griffith’s comments. I for one am greatful that it will be in a military theatre as running around not being able to shoot anybody won’t make for the best game. Whoever wrote this article or the headline is an idiot.
You jerks, dont you get that “Military Theatre” is part of the title of the game COD5. People can really be stupid sometimes. XD
