McAfee iVirusScan: Apple iPhone to get Antivirus Native scanner software

It seems that we can’t take this news seriously as McAfee have not yet officially announced that they will release iVirusScan however; the internet security company has been overwhelmed with the reaction that this software has got. Although this is McAfee software you have to remember that leaked software has a tendency to have malware, so just be careful.
Many people are under the impression that antivirus software is not needed for the Apple iPhone however; this is not true as with the recent iPhone firmware 1.1.1, this was in fact jailbroken and could have contained malicious code. The problem is as technology moves on mobile phones are becoming more advanced and as a result we spend much longer checking out emails or surfing the net, sometimes doing work or just messing around downloading games ringtones and music and some of these files could have something nasty buried in them.
