Iron Man Game: Sony PS3 vs Xbox 360 Comparison Video

Today we have found a comparison video of the Iron Man video game and of course its comparing the Sony PS3 against the Xbox 360 version of Iron Man. Game Trailers have gone with the tag line “Can this one man army stand against the console war?” While we can take this anyway we want, it does seem that GT could be aiming at starting a debate between gamers.

The debate will happen no matter what, but the Iron Man comparison (See Video Below) increase this mainly because the two look so different. I have personally played both and can say that the 360 did not look that washed out, although I played both at different times, they looked the same to me. If you look at the video below, the Playstation 3 has better visuals and some people are saying that the gamma values on the 360 are obviously incorrect.

Surely they would not change the settings to make fan boys argue?

The gameplay on both versions of Iron Man are the same, and if you tweak the PS3 or 360 settings, you can change a lot. To me it looks like the balance and contrast has been changed on the 360 version. I own a PS3 and personally these comparison videos seem a little pointless, so the real question is: Does anyone really care anymore?

Your the second person that has said they have both and say that the 360 version really dosn’t look that washed and that they look the same. It makes me wonder if GT is reliable with these comparisons as a lot of people including myself have refrenced GT for comparisons in the past.

I have the PS3 verion, and have played the XBox 360 demo version, and they looked exactly the same on my display. I think I would have noticed such a drastic color difference, but I didn’t.

They both look as bad as each other to be honest. Have any of you played the demo, you also went out and bought it for the 360 and ps3. lots of money waisted. I really didn’t like this game as you can tell.

usually the complaint with these gt comparison vids is that gt doesn’t use the hdmi on PS3 properly, they hae the rgb on limited. GT say now that the rgb is on full but GT used to say that they could never capture footage of PS3 games with the hdmi lead so they always used the copanent. After the complaints suddenly gt was using or they say the were using hdmi, they’re full of it. Maybe gt are being paid off by either Microsoft or Sony to alter the comtetitors version to make it look inferior. The publishers should get onto gt as I’m sure they can’t deliberately make their games look worse than they do. When we play these games they never look as bad as what gt show.
