This is the LG Vu cell phone that features support for Mobile TV, this is one of the first handsets that supports AT&T Mobile TV and the carrier has officially listed it for sale on their website and as an iPhone owner, I am curious. You may know that the LG Vu has been in retail outlets since the end of April, but we are hearing that it’s only just gone official on their online store.
The LG Vu has a nice 3 inch crystal clear display, 2 megapixel camera with 2 times zoom, the music player supports MP3, WMA, AAC, AAC+, EAAC+. The web browser supports full HTML just like the iPhone, the Vu includes a Touchscreen keyboard, Bluetooth Technology 1.2, EDGE and 3G. It will cost $299.99 on a 2-year contract and after a $100 mail-in rebate.
The Vu is ideal for watching video and TV on the move (thanks to AT&T Mobile TV), the nice display and web browser makes it perfect for surfing the web on the move. This could be another phone to compete with the Apple iPhone, what we need to think about also is how these new phones are doing away with the need for .mobi sites.

I love the look of this phone and I think the 3 inch screen is perfect for mobile applications; as a fan of the mobile internet I am concerned at the ‘reviewers’ comments about ‘doing away with the need for .mobi sites’?
The screen on this device is 3″ and mobile compatible sites are just perfect to encourage the growth of the internet away from the desktop..
