For all you Guitar Hero fans the new Aerosmith version looks as though it will be awesome, one thing that I am not sure of though, will it have online play. Just check out this video man it rocks, for those of you who were left a little disappointed with GH3 the new Aerosmith will help make up for that.

I think that this could just be the start of Guitar Hero Band versions, if GH Aerosmith proves popular then that will open the door for a number of other versions, bring back Guns ‘n’ Roses. If Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is a little light for you, who would you like to appear on the GH game.

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is now the fifth entry and only the second spin-off in the Guitar Hero series. The game allows you to use a peripheral in the shape of a guitar so when you play it will simulate as if you was playing a real guitar. The game has been developed by Neversoft which is then distributed by Activision.

All of the Aerosmith band has played their part in the new game and has took part in motion capture, so that the developers could accurately recreate their moves digitally for the game.

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith will be released on June 29 2008, and will be available on the Sony PS3 and PS2, the Xbox 360, and also the Nintendo Wii.

My vote would be for: Guns N Roses, The Who, Extreme, Pearl Jam, Black Sabbath, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins (despite Corgan being a dick) and Nirvana.

Sweeeeeet! This is awesome. It would be cool to see GH games dedicated to other bands. Glad that Aerosmith was the first though- they’re America’s greatest rock ‘n’ roll band, they deserve it.
