The photos on this page show a new copper-colored BMW M1 concept, the photos were snapped up first from Asphalte.ch and these are the same people that gave us a sneak peak at the Lamborghini LP560-4 earlier in 2008. These photos were of the BMW M1 concept at Villa d’Este; they show the super car on its own and with its forebears.

As you can see, the BMW M1 concept has a flowing, smooth design with “a low brow, high haunches and the signature kidney grille”. The M1 is part of Bimmer’s 30th anniversary celebration of Munich’s original classic supercar, while these photos are from a private exhibition that took place today, we should be hearing more news within the next 24 hours when an official Press Release becomes available.

What do you think of the BMW M1? We love it and hope BMW do not mess around and get working on a production version, but I would imagine that will be a while yet. I think it looks nice and all. But i think the new concept M1 has too much of a muscle car look.

But other than that. looks good. love the orange.
