When a game developer hypes up the future release of a game they normally release a game demo just so you can gets a feel for the game however; for those of you who was looking forward to a game demo for Fallout 3 I am sad to say that there will not be one.
Bethesda who is the developer of Fallout 3 said that they are not able to use just a portion of the game in a demo version, Bethesda spokesperson Pete Hines has this to say “When you build it as one thing, there’s no way to portion off a section and have it stand on its own without putting the whole game in the demo, which we’re just not going to do.”
I just do not understand why Bethesda have this view on a demo of Fallout 3, there are huge amount of other huge game titles out on the market that released a demo first you just need to have a look at the biggest demo on the market Gran Turismo 5. I think that Bethesda have shot themselves in the foot, releasing a game demo of Fallout 3 could have helped with sales figures when the full game comes on the market, unless they have something to hide about the game, all seems very strange to me.

I don’t really care about the story because I’ll be buying the game regardless, but the writer of the article REALLY needs to improve on his grammar and punctuation, honestly.
Having played the game, I cannot see how a demo would even be possible.
A Demo is Un viable, the game is simple TOO big but all is unprescindible to cut something and release it as a demo or a Mutilated game, is like making a demo of Oblivion, the game is so big that making a demo would be making a little and free entire game.
I agree with Arthail. the game is so massive that they cannot put a certian part of the game in without spoiling another part, they cannot do a certian thing because they need to explain why, but that explination was way later in the game, ect. it is fully understandable why they did not.
p.s, whomever wrote this needs to understand that grand tourismo is a raceing game. raceing games have no information in them aside from RACEING. therefore, they can afford to put their early levels in a demo to get the customer pumped. on the other hand, with a game such as fallout 3, a full-length open world rpg, there is no \”begining level\” they can advertise in their demos.
