This price reduction of £100 of the 8GB Apple iPhone has got a lot of people talking, we know that the stock is running out of these handsets and that the stock is not being replenished, in all stores in the US, UK and france. People are now speculating that a 3G version of the Apple iPhone is now imminent.
A spokesperson from O2 has said that slashing £100 of the price of this handset will make it an unbeatable offer; however the price on the 16GB version will remain the same. The thing is as we know Apple always gives the go ahead to reduce the price of something, just before they decide to discontinue that model and then launch a new one, and that could very well be the new Apple 3G iPhone.
