Donny and Marie Osmond hosted the 57th Annual MISS USA Pageant from the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino Las Vegas last night and Crystle Stewart from Missouri City Texas was crowned Miss USA 2008 beating 50 other contestants for the crown.
Throughout the two-hour event, the contestants competed in three categories: Evening gown, swimsuit and an interview then the “Top Five” finalists were selected before the crowning. Rachel Smith who was Miss USA 2007, crowned her successor Crystle Stewart.
During her reign, Crystle Stewart will now work with official causes of Miss USA, which include breast and ovarian cancer education, legislation and research. She will also travel nationwide as an advocate for organizations.

Yes, she is beautiful, well spoken, educated, and a business owner. She is a true role model and a great representation of young adult women in the U.S. I am no Miss America, but I am a gorgeous, educated and gifted high school teacher, I am so proud to have her represent me indirectly.
