Beijing Olympic Games will rebound from Anti-China protests

According to Jacques Rogge who is the head of the International Olympic Committee has stated that “The Games in Beijing would “rebound,” after all the anti-China protests“. He went on to say that these games will succeed.

However Jacques Rogge did ask id China to respect its “moral engagement” to improve human rights, and this would need to be done before the games begin. The recent anti-China protests have had a major impact on the Olympic torch relay in countries such as France, UK and the US. In some cases the torch had to be extinguished and then re-lit.
