We all know that HD DVD has died and gone to heaven but Microsoft are not letting that stop them, because they are still showing the current Xbox 360 HD DVD player owners amazing love with the release of today’s auto update.
You can connect to your Xbox Live with a HD DVD player firmly integrated into your 360, once you are there you will be asked to download a new update, this new update will apparently help with the compatibility issues with some titles and will add additional support for network features.
Oh we must tell you that this update will not bring back to life Toshiba’s commitment to HD DVD but it should make your HD movie viewing a little better.
Oh Microsoft you do try!

Good since I have more HD-DVD moves then the single one (blueray) that came with my Paystation 3. Currently I’m still buying HD-DVD due simply to the price. Blueray is still 30 bucks a pop and not worth the price yet.
That is what I’m saying. These movies look great and at the price why not. The player can still upconert dvds so you can have the best of both worlds until bluray is affordable.
