Remember back when we told you about Xbox 360 not getting Blu-ray (See Here), well the latest news has it that despite Microsoft attempting to crush Xbox 360 Blu-ray rumors the rumors are indeed back with a vengeance.
According to sources chatting to DigiTimes, Lite-On are developing a built-in Blu-ray Disc drives for the next generation Xbox 360 games console and apparently Lite-On are expecting to ship the BD players for assembly in the second half of 2008.
Oh and apparently the apparent smaller Xbox 360 will hopefully reduce the power supply from 210-watts to 170-watts.
I am taking this all with a pinch of salt; do any of you want to comment on the above? We are waiting.

Is this an April Fool? If it is it’s almost as good as the Wii2 one I saw, which is more powerful than a PS3, contains a B-R drive and has motion controls that actually work.
Unless I’ve just April fooled myself and they are true.
Clearly an April Fool
That dream on having Blu-ray Disc drive for Xbox 360 is just something that will for ever be a dream only. Only the PLAYSTATION 3 gaming system will be capable of having Blu-ray Disc drive for games and movies. Xbox 360 is outdated compare to PLAYSTATION 3 technology.
All tech is outdated Ivan_PSP didn’t you know that?
