Kylie Minogue has one more attempt to crack the US

It has been reported that Kylie Minogue is giving it one last go to try and crack the US. Kylie is due to appear on several US TV shows to promote her new album ‘X’.
A source said that “It eats away at Kylie that she has never been big there. She has tried before and it didn’t happen. But being the kind of determined person she is, she’s giving it one more go.”
Kylie has spoken about her desire to have success in the US, saying that “It’s a notoriously difficult market. To know where I fit within that market is very difficult.”

She needs to start with ditching Capitol Records. Too much to explain, but basically they have done nothing for her promo. This would have been the perfect opportunity to capitalize on her comeback album after her health scare. And appearing on 4 television shows isn’t “determination” to crack the US market. Look at the promo she’s done for Europe. No comparison. By the way, I’ve bought the import version of “X,” two copies off iTunes, and am going out today to Best Buy to get a US physical copy. It’s an AMAZING album.
Well, Comet Kylie - all shimmer, all glimmer, hasn’t announced her Aus tour to cap off her sold out 50 date Euro tour starting next month, so presumably, she is waiting to see Stateside reaction, and if all goes to plan, she’ss do some US tour dates, and then come down to Australia. I agree, no comparison to her European promo - The Kylie Show for example. It’s such a shame the US has been out of the atmosphere of Kylie on and off, I really hope you all start living and breathing Kylie now, forevermore. Don’t forget she received an OBE from the Queen recently, and best international female artist at the Brit awards. And by the way, “The One’ is the jewel in the crown of her album, destined to be a huge Euro dance anthem. After watching the Howgirl tour dvd, it really is exciting to see what she’ll present with this tour. She has evolved so much this decade. Comet Kylie flies again!
she has had some success here with Can’t Get You Out of My Head and Locomotion… but not much else. i think that Fever was big in the clubs. and yeah, if she’s only doing 4 tv shows, she’s doomed (unless one of those is called American Idol). 4 shows sounds like one day’s work to me.
I’d say she should do an appearence on American Idol for starters. She should also stay away from the european style of music. Make it more American. Having said that , no matter what happens, I’m still a big fan Kylie !
