This is a question I would love answered and that is “Should Gran Turismo 5 Prologue owners get add on pack for full game?
The reason I ask this is because many of us including myself have bought this awesome game and of course with the knowing that the full game is coming soon, but should we have to pay the full price for the full version of the game?
I think owners of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue should be offered a add on pack to make the Prologue version the full version, yes ok we all have had the choice of buying GT5 Prologue or just sit back and wait for the full version, but come on they know we was going to buy it and not wait.
I bought Gran Turismo 5 Prologue from Asda store for £19.41 and of course when the full game comes out we are looking at around £35 so in total for buying both that is £54.41.
They should allow us to go onto the PSN and download an add on pack for the same price as Gran Turismo 5 Prologue that way it is fair, would you not agree.

GT5P has a lot of content as it is. I’m quite happy to splash out again on the full GT5 when it arrives.
A couple of updates to GT5P this year would be nice though!
P.S. Loving GT5P’s online racing - great fun.
i think gt5prologue is great anyways. Ofc id like to have an add on but id be happy to pay for the full gt5
A friend invite update would be gd for gt5pr
superb game
I’ll be happy purchasing the full game as long as PD let’s us transfer game data from GT5P to GT5. I want to keep my cars! This is what they did for customers of Jpn GT4P.
If there is the ability to transfer unique cars from Prologue to GT5 then you should have to pay extra because you are getting more product than another person who buys the stand alone full version.
If Sony can’t even supply a ps2 to ps3 memory adaptor worth a few pence with a PS3, I wouldn’t be holding my breath about a prologue upgrade route.
I just want to know why there is the prologue and then a year later the full game. Has this ever been done before? Personally it’s the dumest thing i have ever heard. It reminds me of a line 50 cent said where he was basically saying the way to make more money from the same song was to remix it. Sounds like the same thing. In fact it’s a complete reverse of what everyone is doing right now. Making games and coming out with downloadable content. Gosh Sony that sounds more exciting then telling people the full game is comeing out a year from now but you can buy a downgraded version now. Talk about a way to fund your project.
They won’t do an update/add on of the full version for prologue buyers EVER! Considering Prologue of the network is about 1.9GB and it only has 70 cars! Considering GT4 had 700 cars (GT5 is likely to have more, rendered in more detail, with cockpit view detail) and rumored damage possibly added if all manufacturers featured agree to have their precious cars deformed. And only 6 tracks compared to the full 51 tracks GT4 had. Plus full tuning and more colour options and training tracks. This game will most definitely fill the 50GB disc (or more if the 100gig discs are manufactured at a reasonable price for the developers by next year) So unless you want next to all your standard out of the box HDD to be filled with one game this option looks a little unlikely.
What would be more practical is a discount offer for those who doshed out the cash for prologue, but considering that didn’t happen with GT4 this option also looks unlikely.
But it is already confirmed you can transfer your cars and credits from prologue to the full version whenever it will be released. So thats something.
