Madonna Urges London Mayor Ken Livingstone to give tax breaks
It has been reported that Madonna has urged London Mayor Ken Livingstone to give tax breaks to struggling musicians.
It’s said that Madonna is furious at Ken’s decision to introduce Congestion Charging to the city insisting that the levy has made traffic in the British capital worse than ever.
Drivers in central London are forced to pay a fee of £8 a day or face huge penalties if they fail to hand over the money within 24 hours and Madonna insists that the scheme is financially crippling for people starting out in the music industry.
Madonna said that “I would make it so that young musicians wouldn’t have to pay the Congestion Charge or taxes so they would have money for other things. All Red Ken (Livingstone) wants is roadworks everywhere. I’ll just have to walk I guess“.

I used to work up London when Red Ken ran the GLC many years ago. If you ever worked or went to that old building, you always see the waste of money that red ken and his pals spent on crazy ideas. So no surprise a leftie like him brought in a charge to drive into London. People in the Uk seem to forget, all of us already pay a Congestion Charge, its called the 80% tax on fuel!. But for some reason under the guise of green, the dippy people in the UK buy all this spin, and will all pay extra tax’s , but then moan when eggs go up 2 pence. lol
Whilst I partly agree with Madonna’s rant I am actually quite offended by her comments about letting off aspiring musicians! In Madonnas world the ordinary tax payer obviously is not worth anything. British people, and I mean any person who lives in Britian who works, pays their tax and is law abiding, have been penalised for years by the British system.. How about electing Madonna for mayor when she has had a reality check and stands up for the rights of the hard working people of Britian, not just a small minority who are linked to ‘her world’!!! Believe me, if we had a spokesperson (at long last) for the downtrodden, hardworkers of this country who are constantly being used as scapegoats for the people who have no wish to work but live on benefits paid for by us! then I am sure Madonna would not only be Queen of pop, but would also become Queen of England!!! Please Madonna, think before you speak and show a bit of respect for the genuine people of this country!
