The new 3D holographic dashboard is called the HLXX and is pretty simple idea when you look into it, there is a traditional flat display screen 2D dashboard that is used for all the normal and usual driving information with a new 3D holographic screen in front that overlays warnings or alerts.
This new design means it will be much clearer for the driver to see, Daihatsu have said they are planning on getting the HLXX 3D holographic dashboard into production as early as 2012.
Do you think we need 3D holographic dashboards in our cars?
