Early today peter reported on the free web-based Photoshop Express that launched today as a beta, this photo software is going to be a real big hit and it’s direct competition will be Google’s Picasa. Computer World’s blog section has a full hands-on review of Photoshop Express and they seem to love the service, which you can see at photoshop.com/express/.
While users of Photoshop CS3 are not going to rush out and change to the online Photoshop Express, this service will be a massive hit with Facebook users and Bloggers. The 2GB of storage will be great for some small bloggers that want to link to images stored there and it has great browser support thanks to being Flash-based. Sadly Apple iPhone users will have to wait until the iPhone starts supporting Flash.

Connecting to your Picasa, Photobucket and Facebook albums is both easy and a great feature that allows you to edit the pictures directly.
