War of the Worlds 2 The Next Wave
Its really hard where to start with this one as War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise was an amazing film and it was not just because of Tom, it was because of the money spent on it. Follow-ups to movies are not always that good, but War of the Worlds 2 The Next Wave looks like a cheap B movie and a complete embarrassment to the Tom Cruise version.

You can view a recent movie trailer below of War of the Worlds 2 The Next Wave; you got to love the special affects at the end (photo above). It could have been so much better with some more money, why did they bother making it?

  1. tater says:

Was that guy at the end Kyle Reese from the first Terminator movie?

  2. Walt D in LV says:

This is NOT a sequel to the Steven Spielberg/Tom Cruise film. It is a sequel to the David Michael Latt / C. Thomas Howell starring War of the Worlds from the same year:

In fact, this new movie is actually DIRECTED by C. Thomas Howell (AND he reprises his acting role). This is the same guy from The Outsiders, Red Dawn, The Hitcher, and of course, Soul Man. Amazingly enough, C. Thomas Howell’s first acting credit was in E.T., also directed by Steven Spielberg. Interesting..

    Finally, in response to tater:
No, that’s not Michael Biehn, though it does look like him.

    He’s still working, though.
