Jericho Series Finale
From someone who has only just started to watch Jericho and about to finish the first series, it comes as shock and upset that CBS decided to cancel the TV Show as not enough people are watching it. If you want to watch the Jericho Series Finale and you live in the U.S. then you can watch it online at CBS.com.

Fans demanded it to come back before and it was, but now it looks like Jericho is history, CBS said in a statement. “Without question, there are passionate viewers watching this program; we simply wish there were more” and also said “We listened to our viewers, gave the series an opportunity to grow, and the producers put a great story on the screen. We’re proud of everyone’s efforts.Reuters have wrote a two page story about the ending of Jericho.

How do you feel that Jericho has been cut short and will be no more?

This sucks, America needs to see the Good guys kick the shit out of the tyrants who nukes their own counties soil. This is just like code pink and the cowardly democrats wanting to leaver Iraq before the job is done. Bring it back, I love the Jake and Hawkins character, not to leave out Mimi.

I just found out about the show as it was released on dvd. I finished the box set and then went to look up when the air time was and I found out it got the axe..! I am very dissapointed, it is such a good show!!! Please NBC, FOX, ABC, someone, please, add this to the ranks, put in a popular time slot and people will catch on. Jericho is capable of standing up to 24 and other high interest programing!

  3. Dameyon says:

If they want more people to watch, then put it in a better time slot and don’t make people wait until Febuary before you put it back on. I honeslty feel cheated and this show is one of the few things my father-in-law and I have bonded over. Now things are just going to be wierd again. Thanks CBS!

I am sad to see this show end and to see such a good ensemble of actors break up. But I am satisfied with the way they ended it. I don’t really want to watch a civil war. This way I can imagine the story and dream that the “good guys” won. Now, if we could only deal with our real life J&R’s as effectively.

Jericho fans should take a cue from Firefly fans. They got a movie made and have “support” groups to have an outlet for their appreciation.

I am pretty ticked off about them pulling the plug on jericho, it was a great show. im hoping that another channel will pick up the series and continue with the story line. or maybe someone like harry turtledove will write a novel on the second american civil war that is suppose to take place

  6. James says:

I now have no reason to watch there channel, so I guess there overall viewers will go down down by one today. I was talking to my neighbors and with the amount of them that say they watch it, I am surprised that it was canceled. It must just be popular in my neighborhood. It makes me wander if the corporate companies just didn’t like this type of show or if there really wasn’t enough viewers.

What a shame that such a thoughtful and touching program has to fall to the accountants “axe.” Ultimately, I think that the “Jericho phenomenon” will change some of the way in which television shows are developed and marketed (and the process by which shows are kept on the air or not). And while I still hold out some hope that the show will land on another network, I am at least happy that proper closure was provided, and that I and all th other diehard fans got a chance to say “goodbye.”

  8. Tamria says:

I am sooooo disappointed to see Jericho end. I have never been so addicted to a show before like this one. I think they should make a feature film about the new civil war! I would gladly pay to see it.

  9. Gwen says:

Carol Barbee has confirmed that CBS Paramount is trying to sell Jericho to a different network. (CBS Televison Network showed/canceled Jericho, but CBS Paramount is the company that produces Jericho.)

There are already two interested networks - Sci Fi and The CW.

There is a list of things the fans are being asked to do:
