It has been reported that Brad Pitt is related to US presidential hopeful Barrack Obama.
According to the New England Historic Genealogical Society Brad is a distant cousin of Barrack and they are actually ninth cousins linked by a man called Edwin Hickman who died in 1769.
Genealogist Christopher Child said that “It shows that lots of different people can be related, people you wouldn’t necessarily expect.”
The study found that Barrack is also related to British World War II Prime Minister Winston Churchill and US Vice President Dick Cheney.

Said it from the start and they are proving me correct more and more.
Brangelina are in love with an image, an idea, a POLITICAL agenda, not with each other.
Thier latest BS is linking themselves genetically to the presidential canditates.
Turns out some geneologist (no doubt under encouragement of the Brangelina camp) said that Brad is the 9th cousin of Obama and Jolie is the 9th cousin twice removed of Hillary Clinton.
To give you an idea of how “close” that is, these political canditates are also relatives to Alanis Morrisette, Celine dion and many other celebs.
In other words they may be closer relatives to you and I, and in short this all mean JACK $HIT!!
It is a way of celebs letting politicians use them for press and the celeb gets to use the politician in turn to try and be viewed as political. Or as in Brangelina’s case, to try and prep for a someday run for office.
Keep in mind to that if these 9th cousins are SOOOOOOOOOOOo important, then why don’t they list the many many dimwits, criminals, simple folk, etc that would also be in this vaste type of geneology???
I mean if your related to Angelina Jolie, your related to half of the hookers in the world, and if related to Brad, your most likely a “brother” to every piece of trailor trash dirt out there.
I’d love to know how this type of research is done exactly and have someone dig up how many convicts are in brangelina’s family tree.
If we are truely an equal society that doesn’t judge people, then shouldn’t Obama and Hillary be bragging about ALLL those in their family tree?
On the note of Brangelina’s transparent attempt to go political, I actually would love to see them try. Hearing Brad um and ahh and make and arse out of himself would be hysterical. And watching the press ask Holie why she abandoned her dying mother, bullied Z’s Mom and refuses to visit her, etc etc. etc.
