Road Trip with Smartscan: charge and play solution for iPod
By: Peter Chubb | March 18, 2008 | Leave a Comment
The RoadTrip simply plugs into any auto power outlet or lighter adapter and provides an adjustable cradle to charge and hold any docking iPod – even the new iPod touch, iPod classic and the latest iPod Nano 3G. To make RoadTrip even simpler to use, Griffin has incorporated their exclusive SmartScanTM technology, which automatically finds and saves the three best frequencies for sending the music from the user’s iPod to the car’s FM stereo system.
You can set the RoadTrip transmitter to broadcast music from the iPod to any FM frequency from 88.1 to 107.9, and its backlit screen shows which frequency RoadTrip is currently broadcasting. This can easily be adjusted via buttons located directly on the front of the unit. The iPod’s audio is transmitted through the connected dock on the bottom of iPod.
RoadTrip with SmartScan is priced at £59.99
