Coronation Street: Will David Come Clean

Monday 7.30pm – Gail is in intensive care and the doctors have said that she will come round soon, will she reveal David pushed her? The Police arrive to tell Audrey that they suspect it was no accident. The Police are on the street looking for witnesses and Claire mentions to them that Jason left the house earlier that day in a mood.

Tony goes cold on Carla when he hears her talking to Liam on the phone, but, he later invites Liam and Maria for dinner. Ryan asks Michelle if he and Nick can go away for Easter.

Monday 8.30 pm – David is worried as they all gather round Gail’s beside, but when she starts talking it is clear that she cannot recall the fall. Jason calls into the police station to tell them that he did have an argument with Gail, but he never pushed her down the stairs, the police officer reveals that he is the only suspect at the moment and asks him if he knows anyone who would want to hurt Gail.

Carla is surprised to find that she has a dinner party arranged at her home, everyone gets a big shock when Tony decides to propose to Carla. Paul’s jealousy shows through when Dan takes Leanne for a drink in the Rovers.

Wednesday – Gail admits that she is confused about the speculation over Jason and is also feeling lucky to be alive. Audrey goes to the yard to speak to Jason, he reveals to her that they were arguing as he thought that Sarah had had an abortion. Audrey’s confronts David as to what has gone on.

Carla is hoping that Liam will be jealous, but when Tony proposes when they are on their own she happily accepts. Michelle is panicking over Ryan going to Cornwall with Nick.

Friday 7.30 pm Audrey asks David what went on but he manages to front it, but Bill isn’t convinced that he is telling the truth. Bill warns David that he is on to him. David asks Tina if she could say that he was with her when the accident happened. Bill has made a secret phone call to the police.

Fiz comes back from holiday to find that Chesney has been taken into care, she is not happy at all and tries to get him back.

Michelle puts on a brave face when Ryan leaves for his holiday with Nick. When Leanne’s buyer for the restaurant sees that they are just breaking even he withdraws his offer. Becky has started going into work early as she is not wanting to spend any time in her flat.

Friday 8.30 pm - The police question David and he denies that he has pushed Gail down the stairs, he says that he was with Tina but will she back up his storey? Later at the hospital Audrey and Bill admit they were the ones who called the police.

Leanne goes to the Rovers to drown her sorrows after the offer was withdrawn for the restaurant. Paul has fallen for Leanne but she’s starting to fall for Dan.

Fiz promises Chesney that she will sort everything out, and she apologises to Kirk and she tells him that he’s the only one that been there fore him. Becky tells Roy that she doesn’t want to go home and she asks him to go to the Rovers for a drink.
