Sony PS3 Error 33 on Call of Duty 4 (COD4): are people still getting it?

I was playing Call of Duty 4 on my ps 3 this evening and I got booted from a match (everyone may have been). an error box popped up saying “dobj for xmodel ‘body_up_usmc_woodland_sniper’ has more than 128 bones (see console for details)”……. I am not very literate when it comes to electronics and I was wondering if someone could tell me what this means. Thanks.

yh i got the error 33 thing 2nite as well… iv played it for almost a year nw n never had this problem… n iv done everything activision say 2 do n it still dosn work! n it looks like its been goin on for ages… wa the heck we meant 2 do?

I attempted to go onto COD4 this evening and the error 33 appeared on my screen, I attempted to connect to Fifa 09 and that failed also but another profile/account on my ps3 was successful in playing COD and other games online.

Can anybody help?

I received this message tonight Error 33 unable to connect to activision server or something like that, and it will not let me load at all. What is the deal? And how is this fixed? If I lose this account im smashing this piece of junk.

Ive had error 33 pop up today. B4 it would do dl game settings and go to a black screen that said i needed to be online to play online matches. but i was. ive had these 2 weird errors. plz help!!

Ive been getting this Gd error 33 ever since I switched my ISP to a campus style company 3 months ago (apartment pays for it). all of my other games work fine online. Now more people seem to be experiencing this problem. What the hellp is the deal?

I have Fixed My Error 33 Thing… If you keep getting this you mite wanna check your conncection.. ill i had to do is switch Chanell on my Router. low connewction is causing Error 33 (Can not connect to activision match making Error 33)

i’m having it for 3 days now..i formated the ps3 and did evry thing and now..i can’t download the last update for CoD4 1.30 + i can go online and play NORMALY on any game..but CoD4 = no any 1 can help please?

i have got call of duty world at war and every time i finish a game online i got this error 33 i am with bt broadband and have a home hub. it also does not allow me to connect with friends to play online.

ah ha so i’m not the only one then. this is wierd. never had a problem before but it seems i have a good connection but the connection speed is real slow. had this for a week or so now and it is really doin my head in.

hay i attempted to go on cod4 and 5! and it said unable to connect to activision match making (error33) and it let me go online but when i clicked on find game it said downloading game settings or ages and when someone invited me i clicked yes and it froze and said downloading game setting also what happened is i was in a middle of a game and it just froze and crashed can anyone come up with the problem? what im trieing now though is to delete all my sent messages and all my messages in my inbox it might work trie it

Error 33 is back?! Update to firmware 3.01, however the system keeps asking for previous old update and fails to connect. Has anyone solved this problem yet or are we still blaming server traffic?

i have an error 33 for my call of duty modern warfare….i've played for nearly one year and never had an issue. wtf? i restarted my modem, ps3, tried different users, did my internet test connection etc…how to resolve issue??is it a ps server issues? if so do i need to download a patch or….? i dunno please advise
