F22 Raptor takes over from the F-117 Stealth Fighter
The F-117 Stealth Fighter believe it or not has been in service for over 20 years now, but most people remember it from the first Gulf War. Well now this amazing plane is to retire and taking its place is the F22 Raptor.

The F22 Raptor has the same stealth capabilities as the F-117 Stealth Fighter, however it is more powerful a nimble than its predecessor. The F22 Raptor can also get to about 1600MPH without using afterburner.

Check out some great footage of the new breed of fighter, that is the F22 Raptor.
