Big boys Sprint have just released a new service called WebCapTel, pretty catchy that name if you say it over and over again.

Anyway WebCapTel is basically an extension of their existing CapTel which will help hard of hearing callers see what the other person on the other end is saying in real time.

The good thing is there is no need for expensive equipment; in fact you do not need any equipment at all. The new service WebCapTel simply works via any web browser using any phone and it will turn a phone call into text very quickly so that callers will be able to respond there and then using their own natural voice.

Now if you ask me personally, I would have to say this is pretty cool and I love it.

I have web captel and tried this morning to pull up the page to dial my numbers and log on and it could not be displayed. I can get all your web sites but the one I needed this morning to make a few calls. Sandra Bunning 10-12-09
