Sony Playstation 3 Owners: what games do you play other than Call of Duty 4?

I really want to know what games you play other than Call of Duty 4; personally I am flipping addicted to CoD4 and cannot put the controller down. Buying a game is pretty hard in my eyes because there are so many to choose from but nine times out of ten you get them home and they are crap.

Take this for example, my cousin said to me “Get CONFLICT: Denied Ops” so I did and got it home to start playing it, and must say I was excited only to be let down when I put the game in the PS3.

That game is like the PS One graphics if you ask me, my PS3 console will never be subjected to such crap ever again, I also got Medal of Honor Airborne and yet again disappointed. So can anything touch Call of Duty 4?

You have guessed I like war games but I do in fact like any game that has very good graphics as well as gameplay online.

I really want to know about every single game that you love on the Sony Playstation 3 so please answer this question and of course why you like the game.

    COD4 was amazing. I liked Assassin’s Creed, but understand why others didn’t…if you aren’t intrigued by roaming around the Crusades, then you would find it boring.

    Pro Evolution Soccer very good if you like football, and Burnout Paradise will pass some happy hours. But really, you should be hanging on for Grand Theft Auto.

    Yeah, Call of Duty: United Offensive, for PC, is the best they’ve done in the series. Not for console, but who cares.

    What kind of crappy article is this? There are many games that great on the PS3 that I’ve been playing my list:
    COD 4
    Uncharted Drakes Fortune
    Rockband
    Assassins Creed
    Heavenly Sword
    Burnout Paradise City
    Warhawk…
    and these are just a few that I have in my library of games.
    I think the reason why you are experiencing such poor graphics is that you are still using an outdated SDTV to game. I suggest you get an HD display and join us in the next generation of gaming.

    Resistance FOM. We are on the sixth ‘tour of duty’ with this one. Only because we play split screen co-op mode with different friends. The maps offer diverse combat scenarios. The Insane frenzy of the Bus Garage with aliens coming at you from all sides. The london rooftops where they pop up from anywhere. Those swarms of giant scorpion things that turn up in tunnels, streets, parks. And there is sometimes something slightly funny about the behaviour of some of the aliens. I think a few are reconstituted stand up comics.

    Orange Box is available on PS3.

    Orange Box contains Portal.

    Portal is the best game in history.

    CoD4 is the top dog for PS3 online gaming but that is just bc the game sony promise haven’t came to light

    I will say that Assassin’s Creed does get repetive after the 6th or 7th assassination (another flag-collecting minigame!?), and most of the other games are incredibly short (Heavenly Sword can be beaten in 6 hours). But other than that, most big-name titles are great:

    Assassin’s Creed
    Heavenly Sword
    Resistance: FOM
    Motorstorm
    Drake’s Fortune
    Unreal Tournament 3
    The Orange Box

    And if you can wait a couple of months:

    Metal Gear Solid 4
    Resistance 2
    LittleBigPlanet
    GTA 4
    Gran Turismo 5
    Mirror’s Edge (if you haven’t heard of it, look it up; if done well, it could be great)

    And a few others that I forget at the moment.

    Play Unreal Tournament 3. This game will fall within the parameters that the writer stated: Very good graphics as well as game-play online.

    The Writer stated nothing about an fantastic story line, and since that doesn’t matter this game it the tits for PS3. UT3 game is so fast that it really does make some of my other favorite games like Halo 3, COD4 & Rainbow Six all look like they are Slow-Motion in comparison. I still play them all, but UT3 has been getting huge playtime on my 46″ since December.

    I agree COD4 is addicting and hard to put the controller down. I personally can’t find a game at the moment to buy.

    My library currently has Warhawk, SvR08, COD4.
    Haven’t touched Warhawk since COD4.
    Smackdown vs Raw 08: I play time to time.
    COD4 almost never leaves the ps3.

    Waiting for GTAIV & MGS4. till then…no games will be purchased.
