Xbox 360: worst console ever created, eats discs and RROD
I know that this will upset thousands of gamers, but it does seem as if the Xbox 360 is the worst games console that was ever created. The thing is you need to have a look at some facts, Microsoft’s games console likes to eat discs. My brother was playing Forza 2, when his Xbox 360 decided that it was hungry and started to devourer the disc, what was left was a disc that was badly scratched.

And that is not all; many people are on their second Xbox as the first got that dreaded RROD. I had an Xbox and had it for just under a year, and then I got that Red Ring of Death. I was upset, however thankfully I had it repaired free of charge from Microsoft.

Since I purchased my Sony PS3; my Xbox 360 seems to be gathering dust. Maybe I might give it away to someone or use it as a doorstop, well it is bulky enough.

    thats more than a little opiniated and biased dont you think? -

    i for one have had the same launch xbox since the day it was released and i have YET to have any RROD or disc scratching situations.

    And the fact that this is on a Product review site makes things worse - hardly a review is it?

    its comments and blogs like this one that is giving the 360 a bad name..

    @bob,

    360 ever had a good name? I mean its well publicized god awful RROD 16-30% failure rate.

    yeah, my xbox did the same thing, and im on my 3rd one, so i dont even buy games no more on it for fear of it combusting on me. even for multiplatform games i get them for my ps3 so i wont have to deal with my discs getting scratched or whatever else negative that the stupid box will do…..i like my ps3 always have and always will, and as for BOB well damn your one lucky bastard, everyone i know had their xbox crap out or eat discs at some point…….xbox360 is a faulty piece of hardware, i have my little brother who works at a gamestop and even they recommend ps3’s now because in reality they dont want people to pay 400 for a machine that has a good chance of dying on them

    ohhh…let me guess, this site isn’t clocking enough hits, you guys needed some attention, you decided to raise up a storm by posting an obviously attention-grabbing article & to be honest you might just succeed -at least for a week anyway.

  8. BD says:

    Well in terms of hardware defiantly. in terms of games defiantly not. But IMO that is no reason to go out and buy one that would just say you can screw me as long as you promote good games but MS knows theres alot of fools with money to spend.
    Now I’ll sit back and wait for the Xbox 360 defensive to come out and explain to me why the 360 is a better choice then the others.

    lol… the Fanboys!!!
    Seems that these days any loser with a computer writes articles…

    Your site absolutley sucks because all you do is start controversy. It’s the same shit over and over again just flipped another way. Listen if you move the 360 from verticle to horizontal then yes you will get a stratched disk. So sorry the 360 isn’t exactly idiot proof. If you did it in the begining then fine, you went through a learning curve. If you do it again your an idiot.
