United Nations watchdog Calls for Crackdown On Celebrity Drug Use

It has been announced that the United Nations watchdog has declared that dealing too leniently with celebrities who use drugs sends out the wrong message to young people.

Philip Emafo who is the President of the International Narcotics Control Board has openly warned against treating famous drug users too softly.

Phillip’s report added too many governments target low-level street dealers but did little to tackle big criminal gangs.

Phillip said that “Celebrities are often involved in illicit drug trafficking or in illicit drug use and this is glamorised, If, indeed, they have committed offences they should be dealt with.”

What do you think should they be tougher on celebrities after all they are people like us but just have got themselves a status in the celebrity world?
