Nike + Apple iPod Experience: working with gym equipment manufacturers
As you know both Apple and Nike have helped to revolutionize the way that we run, thanks to the Nike + iPod. Well following on from that success it seems that the companies will be bringing the Nike + iPod experience to many gyms around the world, hopefully by the summer.

Apple and Nike have approached some of the major gym equipment manufacturers; these include Star Trac, Life Fitness, Technogym and Precor. They are hoping for them to make their ellipticals, stationary bikes, stair climbers and treadmills all Nike + iPod compatible. This will allow users to plug in their iPod Nano so that it will record the progress of their workouts.
