Doro who is a Swedish consumer electronics company have done a survey, which has revealed that around half of the British find TV remotes confusing. In the age range 60 and over it was 63% who had trouble with their remote.

The study also revealed that every second Brit only uses 6 buttons on the remote and this coincides with the launch of a very simple remote, not surprisingly from Doro. It’s called the Doro HandleEasy 321rc, which has been designed with the more senior audience in mind, and it is perfect for anyone who just wants a plain and simple remote.

The remote can learn functions that you can allocate to each button and will control television, radio or stereo which require a remote to operate. The HandleEasy is on sale now at Argos for £19.99.
