Shannon Matthews: Police start Checks for family friends

It is now two weeks since the disappearance of Shannon Matthews, and it now looks as though detectives are to run some criminal checks on her friends and family. According to Sky News the police are said to be interested in anyone of them who have a criminal past.

It is also said that the police are checking the sex offenders register in West Yorkshire where Shannon Matthews went missing.

Now that police have a “full set of fingerprints and a DNA profile“, do you think this will dramatically help in finding Shannon Matthews?
