Barack Obama Most Popular Searched Policitian

There seems to be a lot more people interest in what is happening in the US Elections, than what is actually happening in the UK. Hitwise has said that Barack Obama is the most searched for political figure in the UK and comes in ahead of Gordon Brown and David Cameron.

They have said that he is the most popular search and in the last he has received three times more searches than Hilary Clinton. Robin Goad, Research Director at Hitwise said “UK Internet visits to Barack Obama’s official website started to increase steadily from the end of January and, during the week of ‘Super Tuesday’ (week ending 9 February 2008) his website received more visits than any of the major UK political party websites”,
