“That’s just a race to the bottom… if mainstream buyers buy it then whoa…” His fears include letting consumers know what they can do computationally on a small and cheap machines and that they will not pay out for expensive upgrades that have the latest processors, screen technology and graphics.
Come on Sony behave there is a massive market out there and there are many ways you can move into the world of producing cheap laptops and you know it.
Consumers desire for upgrades and higher performance it is a fact, at the end of the day why blame Asus seeing as laptop prices are hitting the lower price brackets than ever before anyway. Oh yes and there is the CloudBook which is cheap as well.
The Eee PC comes in at around £220 and personally I think Sony has room for another cheap laptop for our consumers.
