Should Prince Harry be In Afghanistan?

In relation to the story posted yesterday by Kerry, Prince Harry has been out in Afghanistan for the past ten weeks. Do you think that it is right that he is out there?
I am half decided on this as I agree that he has signed up to do a job within the Army, but on the other hand he is out there with our lads and lasses and could he be putting them in more danger. The world now knows that he is there.
Prince Harry is reported to have told the media “I don’t think there are any words to describe it,” he said. “It’s just really nice to be out here. I’ve only been out here for a short time and I hope to be out here for a lot longer and go through it with everybody else.”
Do you think that he should be brought home or he should stay out there fighting with his unit, doing the job he has been trained for?

i get the impression (probably because he said something along this line) that he thinks its “cool” being “…out here.” sorry, harry, but war is not nice, nor is it something to look forward to…. maybe its so the young aristocrat can have something neat to talk about over cigars and brandy following high tea: elbow to elbow with the common folk. to the point, it wouldn’t have mattered him being there or not had he not exposed himself or been exposed; if he creates unnecessary danger to those around him, he should be sent home…. i’m wondering: why does he have the big grin all the time? nobody in his/her right mind should enjoy being there unless he/she thinks its “cute.” hey, harry, its not a game, pal….
He should have served on OP HERRICK with his unit. However, it was correct for the MOD to extract Prince Harry, once the news of his deployment was leaked, as he then became an attractive target for the taliban. This would have increased the danger for him and others.
