We have just that Microsoft is to cut the price of their operating system Windows Vista, the price cuts will be introduced worldwide in over 70 countries. At the moment Windows Vista Ultimate costs about $399, this will now be reduced to $319 that’s a saving of $80.
Microsoft hopes that by reducing the price of Vista OP, they can boost the number of people who wish to upgrade to this newer version of Windows. Microsoft says that since the launch of Vista in 2007, they have sold over 100 million copies. Let us hope that they launch the SP1 for Vista soon, then maybe more people might choose to upgrade.
