Chemical Ali execution approved: Ali Hassan Majid, Saddam Hussein’s cousin

Ali Hassan Majid was convicted of genocide as well as a list of other crimes back in June. The decision to hang Chemical Ali was a hard one to make, as his supporters argued that he was just carrying out the orders Saddam Hussein, the president of Iraq.
The U.S. has been holding Ali Hassan Majid since they caught him, and refused to hand him over until the Presidency Council reached a decision.
